Welcome to Smart Tech How to Reset Canon Printer Waste Ink Pad? In this video we fixed the canon ink Tank G2411 printer. There was an error P07 in the printer about waste inkpad counter. After multiple printings or consecutive ink flush, the wastage inkpad became full and the EPROM chip gave the indicator about its replacement. After see this video you will get to know about to reset the wastage inkpad counter without using any tool or paid utility. Reset Inkpad Counter Canon Ink Tank Printers How to Reset Canon Ink Tank Printer Waste Ink Pad Canon Waste Ink Pad Counter Reset 1. Turn the printer off. 2. Press and hold the RESUME button before pressing and holding the POWER button. 3. Release the RESUME button and press the RESUME button twice more in quick succession. Note: You are still holding the POWER button). The printer’s carriage will “reset” or move momentarily. If the above was performed correctly the printer will enter “Service Mode”. 4. Press the RESUME button four more times and this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp will change color each time you press resume. Note: It is important you press RESUME exactly four times as more or less will cause the printer to perform a different function. 5. Press the POWER button to return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer. The same method will apply on other canon models i.e. G2000 series and G3000 series. Anyhow, if you find any difficulty feel free to ask below in comments.
