Why Chelsea Is DreamWork's Most Misunderstood Villain

Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken has been one of the movies that has fundamentally changed my life and that I love. However I cannot stand to see the movie constantly misrepresented, and especially in regards to the main villain of the movie, Chelsea. Chelsea has been misunderstood for a long time now, and I say enough. Chelsea and this movie have fundamentally been refused the credit she deserves from the Animation Community. I say that she is extremely underrated and people do not understand her role in the narrative and the thematical significance. I say she is the perfect villain for this type of movie, has been executed in a unique way that makes the character more investing, has been by far the biggest villain to shape their protagonist, serves as the perfect antithesis to the hero, and is possibly Dreamworks most personal villain.
