JR上野駅 発車メロディ(在来線)
This is a collection of departure melodies and bells from Ueno Station, located in Tokyo's Taito Ward and serving the Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Utsunomiya Line, Takasaki Line, and Joban Rapid Line (Ueno-Tokyo Line). Ueno Station is a transfer point for the Shinkansen, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Hibiya Line, and Keisei Main Line (Keisei-Ueno Station). This directly managed station features 17 tracks, with 6 elevated platforms and 12 tracks, and 3 above-ground platforms and 5 tracks. As the terminal station in the northeastern part of the Yamanote Line, prior to the opening of the Ueno-Tokyo Line, most trains to northern Kanto and other areas used this station as their starting and ending point, earning it the nickname "Tokyo's Northern Gateway." Even today, numerous trains still operate here, and all regular conventional line trains stop here. Starting February 19, 2025, departure melodies will be using the new general-purpose melody (tentatively called "Metropolitan Area No. ○"), except for platforms 14-17. Previously, platforms 1-4 and 11/12 used ROM bells, platforms 5-10 used music produced by Teichiku, and platform 13 used music produced by Toyo Media Links. Platforms 14-17 continue to use the ROM bell and local melody (Ah Ueno Station). Platforms 1-4, which are used by the Yamanote Line and Keihin-Tohoku Line, often play the second chorus, especially during rush hour, and there are no standing passengers except at certain times, so the difficulty level is relatively low. This video also includes the limited-time melodies that were previously used. Platforms 5-9 are used by trains on the Utsunomiya Line and Takasaki Line (except platform 9) and the Joban Line (platforms 6, 8, and 9 only). Most trains stop for more than a minute, so the bell is fairly likely to ring. However, unlike neighboring stations, even if the stop time is less than two minutes, a departure announcement of about one minute is played after the arrival announcement. Unless the stop time is about two minutes, the announcement often overlaps with the departure melody. Also, as of February 2025, only platforms 5 and 6, and platform 8 for express trains, have standing attendants issuing signals, making it easy for station attendant announcements to overlap, making it difficult to avoid overlaps. The best time to catch a train is when there's ample time to stop, or when it's the first train to depart from this station. Platforms 10-12 are terminal platforms and are used by the first trains on the Joban Line. As long as there are no issues with signal operation, any train can be caught, but Blue Rapid trains tend to ring more often than Green Rapid trains. Platforms 13-17 are terminal platforms on the ground, and are used by the first trains on the Utsunomiya Line, Takasaki Line, and Joban Line (only regular express trains depart from platform 17). As of 2024, platform 13 is only used by one Utsunomiya Line train. If there are no oncoming trains, the signal opens more than one minute before departure, so it is entirely up to the conductor how long the bell sounds, but as one chorus on platforms 16 and 17 is long, the bell is often cut off after the chorus has lingered. 00:00~ Opening 00:03~ Platform 1 Departure Melody (Song Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai 1-1 00:24~ Platform 1 Old Departure Bell (Bell A) 00:47~ Platform 2 Departure Melody (Song Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai 11 01:16~ Platform 2 Old Departure Bell (Bell B) 01:37~ Platform 2 Limited-Time Departure Melody (Meistersinger) 02:09~ Platform 2 Limited-Time Departure Melody (Turandot) 02:32~ Platform 3 Departure Melody (Song Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai 11-1 03:04~ Platform 3 Old Departure Bell (Bell B) 03:24~ Platform 3 Limited-Time Departure Melody (Meistersinger) 03:56~ Platform 3 Limited-Time Departure Melody (Turandot) 04:26~ Platform 4 Departure Melody (Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai No. 1 04:48~ Platform 4 Old Departure Bell (Bell A) 05:15~ Platform 5 Departure Melody (Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai No. 3-1 05:43~ Platform 5 Old Departure Melody (Beyond the Tracks) 06:17~ Platform 6 Departure Melody (Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai No. 12 06:46~ Platform 6 Old Departure Melody (Syncopation) 07:11~ Platform 7 Departure Melody (Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai No. 3 07:39~ Platform 7 Old Departure Melody (Playing with Nuts) 08:08~ Platform 8 Departure Melody (Title Unknown) *Shuto-Kai No. 21 08:38~ Platform 8 Old Departure Melody (Twinkling Cityscape V1) 09:06~ Platform 9 Departure Melody (Song Name Unknown) *Shuto Area No. 12-1 09:35~ Platform 9 Old Departure Melody (See You Again) 10:11~ Platform 10 Departure Melody (Song Name Unknown) *Shuto Area No. 13-1 10:39~ Platform 10 Old Departure Melody (Distant Blue Sky V1) 11:06~ Platform 11 Departure Melody (Song Name Unknown) *Shuto Area No. 21-1 11:31~ Platform 11 Old Departure Bell (Bell a) 11:52~ Platform 12 Departure Melody (Song Name Unknown) *Shuto Area No. 21-1 12:12~ Platform 12 Old Departure Bell (Bell a) 12:30~ Platform 13 Departure Melody (Son...
