Sonic & Knuckles Playthrough--Sonic (No Emeralds)

I did this partly because I've been wanting to upload a playthrough of some of Sonic 3 & Knuckles' levels as Sonic, without the emeralds, and partly because I've been wanting to upload a video of Death Egg Zone (my favorite zone in the game, excluding the Act 1 boss, which is most likely my least favorite boss in the game), but without the invincibility/Super music. As such, I figured I would choose this game, and play through it as Sonic, without any emeralds. The game is much harder without a Super form. Because I almost always complete this game, Sonic 3, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles with all the emeralds, completing it with none forced me to remember how to defeat certain bosses in a different way. I played somewhat cautiously through most of it because I was trying very hard not to die, or even get hit. While I wasn't successful in either of these things, I believe I only lost 7 lives overall, and certain levels I did particularly well at (like not getting hit at all in Flying Battery Act 1). I could have gone a bit faster, but I didn't want to be taking damage often. However, I'm usually a lot better with the final boss. I normally don't lose any lives with him, Super or not. I've always preferred Sonic & Knuckles to Sonic 3, but Sonic 3 & Knuckles is my second favorite Sonic game, next to Sonic 2. Recorded with OBS.
