It was a relatively warm day, so I headed to the sea, specifically to Atami City in Shizuoka Prefecture. To my surprise, I found blooming sakura—not just a single tree, but an entire street lined with them. I began my journey at Atami Station, walking through a roofed market street down to the sea. I strolled along the beach until I reached a mountain river promenade, surrounded by blooming sakura trees. As I was going uphill, I visited a small shrine. Continuing higher, I arrived at Kinomiya Shrine. As night fell, I passed near Kinomiya Station, turned down toward the river, and returned to the sakura promenade, now illuminated in the dark.
