Structure Fire Response 11-19-20

At 2:20 p.m. today, Milton Fire & Rescue responded to the report of a garage fire at 201 Hwy 36 in Milton. Crews arrived on the scene shortly after the dispatch and found a garage fully engulfed and spreading to two residential structures. Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly preventing the fire to spread any further. The garage was a total loss as well as vehicles the owner had inside. Two residential structures, as well as two other garages, received damage to their siding due to the fire. Crews were on the scene for several hours getting the fire out. Fire cause has not been determined at this time. Bedford Fire and Rescue and Madison Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
