🚊 150 Jahre Tramway Wien | Parade auf dem Ring der Wiener Linien

The tram has been moving many Viennese people for 150 years. The city's public transport company is celebrating this anniversary with a vintage car parade on the Ringstrasse on September 27th in #Wien. With 29 lines, 225 kilometers of tracks and around 300 million passengers per year, the “Bim” is one of the most important public transport in the city today. The history of the tram begins in 1865 with the first horse-drawn tramway. The first electric trains were on the road at the turn of the last century. Today the trams are mostly stepless. 50 vehicles on the Ring A tram parade will take place on the Ringstrasse on September 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the 150th birthday. Around 50 vehicles - from the horse tramway to the steam tramway and the Reichsbrückenbus to the modern ULF - will be on display on the Ringstrasse - more on this in “Ghost Train” was on the Ring. The vehicles drive at walking pace from Schottentor / Schottengasse to Schwarzenbergplatz. During a photo stop in front of the Rathausplatz, the vehicles are presented before they continue their journey. #WienerLinien # Tram #Oldtimer ❤ I like Mani
