My Federal Signal SD-10 Siren Test (1-Minute Alert)

Here is my most recent siren acquisition running. It has been a dream of mine ever since I got into the hobby to own a big siren. And that day came yesterday. I bought the siren near the end of June and yesterday on 7/14/16, I made the 3 and a half hour drive down to Sheboygan to go and pick this thing up. This siren was installed in Wykoff, Minnesota, at this location 43.7106254, -92.2670852. The siren was removed sometime in either late 2024 or early 2025 where it ended up in the SWS yard. Also interestingly enough, this siren is 7 1/2 horsepower which is the absolute minimum horsepower these sirens can run on. Wykoff had 2 SD-10’s, this one, and another one which went to a guy in Michigan who refurbished it and put it back into service if I remember correctly. My plans are to get a new eyebolt for it since the one it had snapped in half, fix all the dents in the sheet metal, get a roof mounting bracket so I can put it on a pallet, and paint it in time for SirenCon 2027. Also note that this siren is not being run at my house and I do not own the generator running this siren. A friend of mine is keeping it at his place since I don’t have anywhere to put it. Anyways, I’m happy this thing runs well and I plan to make future videos about this thing. Enjoy! Copyright Sirens Of Wisconsin (Emmit R) 2021-2026 only use with permission
