Steam Locomotive Cab Ride on Alberta Prairie Railway #41

A cab ride on the 2-8-0 (Consolidation) steam locomotive #41 of the Alberta Prairie Railway which occurred on 2012/09/29. The trip takes us from Stettler, Alberta in Canada to Big Valley to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the train station in that town by the Canadian Northern Railway of that time. Festivities took place all day in Big Valley, capped by a locomotive pull in which a number of teams of 20 people tried to pull #41 in the evening. For this trip, the train is normally pulled by a diesel, but #41 had been added to the rear of the consist for this purpose.
