Speech Performance SPEAKING FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSE CLASS

EXAM DESCRIPTION : Thre final examination for the speaking for academic purposr course will br conducted in the form of : 1. Project (Written Task) Students are required to develop a speech script in English with the following themes a. Preserving local culture and or b.Environment conversation 2. Practical Test (Speech Performance) students are required to deliver a speech presentation based on the script thay havr prepared performance requirments Duration: 7 Minutes per students *Student must use their prepared script at the basis of delivery(outline notes are allowed, but full reading is discouraged) *Assesment focuses on Fluency , delivery and audience angangement SPEECH ASSESMENT RUBRIC 1.contenct and organization (25%) 2. Language use (25%) 3. Pronuncuation and intonation ( 20%) 4.Delivery and performance(20&) 5.Time management(10%)
