BRUSH CREEK PARK.....Free camping in ALABAMA on the Tennessee River!

Brush Creek Park Coordinates- (34.9016498, -87.9948449) Beautiful park that is maintained by Waste Management. There are 3 different locations to camp: 1) right when you turn into the park you will find an open field for camping. This are is more of a dispersed camping area. You pick your camp location as long as you are not closer than 20 feet to any buildings. 2) you will find a tent camping (only) area near the boat ramp. Ample parking and close to the rivers edge and bathrooms close by. 3) if you take a left at the 2nd fork in the road you will arrive at a fairly new camping spot. There are 18 sites (5 water sites) with level pads, fire rings and water at each site. There is also a community bathroom complete with hot showers! Come prepared as the location is somewhat remote. The nearest decent sized town is Florence, Alabama about 20 miles away.
