Hi friends! Welcome back to my channel and thanks so much for watching this video! Today is a different kind of video and not one I ever thought I would be making. So... I was laid off. And it was really unexpected. You've probably heard a lot about recent tech layoffs, and I am sadly one of those people that find themselves out of work. If you've been laid off, first, I'm SO sorry! I know this sucks! but you're also not alone, and this is not forever. Tech layoffs 2023 sucks, but we'll get through it! I decided to create an unemployment vlog series and to share my journey navigating this weird time. I hope one day I can look back, appreciate the struggle and see how far I've come! I've never been in the position where I've had to say I lost my job and it's weird and scary. So I'm sharing my process and my job search in the hopes that it helps someone else.
