Junko Shimada — Paris, 1982 Film by Laurent Laclos This archival film was produced on the occasion of Junko Shimada’s first runway show in Paris in 1982. It brings together rare footage of the debut collection alongside interviews with designers, collaborators, friends, and journalists who accompanied Junko Shimada at the very beginning of her Parisian journey, including Maïmé Arnodin, Kenzo Takada, Jean Bousquet (President of Cacharel at the time), Tokio Kumagaï, Issey Miyake, Atsuko Anzai...
