Can you paint old dirt bike or ATV plastics and make it stick? Sure, this is how I do it! I use some techniques and products body shops use to paint plastic car and truck bumpers .I start by cleaning and prepping the fenders on my vintage Honda XL125 custom dirt bike. I even fix a crack and hole with some plastic welding. I I then spray with plastic adhesion promoter, then sand off the old damage. I then use some epoxy primer and 2K urethane surfacer primer before I spray then fenders with some single stage urethan automotive paint. Stick around to the end of the video, they turned out GREAT!
