The Making of a Djembe
This video shows the making of a djembe with the help of Chet, who has made many djembes. The djembe is a traditional West African drum. The wood is Black Walnut and it took several months to make. It is covered with goat skin. The sound is amazing! The recording of the music doesn't do it justice. You have to hear it in person to really appreciate it.
