The South Jakarta District Attorney's Office granted a request for a suspension of detention for Tifauzia Tyassuma (Doctor Tifa) and Roy Suryo. Both are suspects in a case of alleged slander and defamation related to allegations of fake diplomas by the 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). Ade Darmawan, Secretary General of the United Indonesian Association of Indonesian Advocates Associations (Peradi Bersatu), responded to the suspension of detention for Doctors Tifa and Roy Suryo. Ade stated that Jokowi would directly announce the powerful figures suspected of interfering in the case, leading to the decision to suspend detention for Tifa and Roy Suryo. Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa officially received a suspension of detention on Monday (June 22). The South Jakarta District Attorney's Office (Kejari) revealed several reasons for not detaining Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa. This was conveyed by the Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Marcelo Bellah. He stated that the suspects' families had acted as guarantors to avoid detention.
