Talking about risk with children and families | Frontline Talks

Covering a variety of social work related topics, Frontline Talks invite expert speakers from across our network to share their projects, research and areas of expertise with you all. In this session, Frontline fellow Sam shares the research he completed about creative ways to bring families in on the process of systemic hypothesising. He speaks about the difficulties he was having talking to parents about risks to their children, how he developed ‘shared hypothesising’ tools to use with parents, and what he learned about the impact of our own emotional experiences and histories as social workers on this process.
