Today we're putting some of the newest and most talked-about broadheads to the test. I've got my hands on the brand-new Iron Will SLR (Solid Long Range) broadheads, and to make things even more interesting, we're bringing back one of my favorite tests on the channel—the Paper Plate Penetration Challenge. By popular subscriber request, we're also throwing the Kudu into the mix, along with the brand-new SEVR Magnito 1.75 Hybrid to see how these heads stack up when things get quantified. The beauty of the paper plate test is that it gives us a repeatable way to measure penetration. Instead of relying on opinions or marketing claims, we can count exactly how many plates each broadhead punches through and compare the results side-by-side. But penetration is only part of the equation. We'll also look at durability, flight characteristics, overall design, and whether these heads deserve a spot in my quiver for elk season 2026. The big question: Has Iron Will created the broadhead I'll trust when a September bull finally steps into range? There's only one way to find out.
