The coolant temperature sensor in the Rodius sometimes develops problems and no longer provides a temperature reading. This causes a loss of power because the ECU (engine control computer) no longer has this information and therefore causes the engine to run at reduced performance. ⬇︎ 🎸🤘🔥 ⬇︎ The problem is reported as a fault code (DTC) via OBD2: P240B. The loss of this signal can also affect the automatic transmission, as the TCU (Transmission Control Unit - the computer that manages the automatic transmission) requires it. Replacing this sensor is therefore a necessary step in resolving the automatic transmission problem (Mercedes 722.6 NAG1) in the Rodius.
