Turbo KP60 Starlet G30 770 Turbo - Toyota Festival 2026 at Hampton Downs NZ

This was session 4 from the day and did about 1.5 laps before this footage to warm the car up. Then the switch on the dash is the water pump for the water to air intercooler which runs a 25 litre ice water tank (the aluminium tank behind the laptop) and pumps it to a barrel intercooler. It normally just lasts for the 15 min track session, which about 10 mins of this are at full speed. Lots of room for improvements but enjoy the hobby. Recorded on a Go pro in 2.7K 60fps. The car changes a lot over the years but this was the spec from this event - 1981 Toyota Starlet KP60 3SGE Beams engine 2.0l TODA cam wheels and valve springs Aeroflow boosted G30-770 turbo 15psi boost 4 inch stainless exhaust off the turbo, aprox 500mm long with no mufflers out the front guard Link ECU Link CAN Lambda 8500rpm rev limit 1000cc injectors 98 Octane fuel Drysump Turbosmart hypergate 45mm wastegate and Turbosmart BOV Water to air intercooler with ice tank 15x8 Wheels 245-40-15 Nankang AR1 tyres Front and rear Toyota W55 gearbox Altezza Diff with a 2 way Cusco clutch pack center Nissan Skyline R32 turbo brakes front and rear 897kg wet weight no driver Aprox 400hp (estimated but unknown) The tune still needs work especially on acceleration enrichment but getting there and the ‪@Link_ECU‬ makes this so user friendly.
