Vandenberg – "Here I Go Again" (Whitesnake Cover) live, Rock Hard Festival l 2024 | Rockpalast

The Combo Vandenberg, led by guitarist and namesake Adriaan “Adje” van den Berg, has been synonymous with pure hard rock since the early 1980s. After a very long hiatus, the band returned in 2020 with a reunion album and has been touring the world ever since. In 2024, Vandenberg performed at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, where WDR Rockpalast recorded their show. 💡 You can find the entire concert here: https://1.ard.de/Vandenberg_2024 🎶Our Melodic & Hard Rock Playlist:    • 🎵 Melodic & Hard Rock   In 1981, Adriaan van den Berg recruited Bert Heerink (vocals), Dick Kemper (bass), and Jos Zoomer (drums) in Amsterdam and Los Angeles. Together they recorded a demo tape that caught the attention of journalist Kees Baars. He offered to be their manager and secured the band a deal with Atlantic Records. The band recorded their first self-titled album in the studio of former Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page. In 1983, their first single, “Burning Heart,” reached number 39 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2004, there were a few signs of life in the form of a double best-of album and a DVD of their 1984 concert in Tokyo. In 2012, the rest of the band, without van den Berg, attempted to secure the rights to the band name. In 2020, the band finally celebrated their “real” comeback with their namesake, the reunion album “2020” and a completely revamped line-up. 📸 Thumbnail photos: WDR/Thomas von der Heiden #vandenberg #metalmusic #Rockpalast ----- 🎬 More Rockpalast: ► Rockpalast in the ARD media library: https://www.ardmediathek.de/sendung/r... ► Rockpalast website and archive: https://www.wdr.de/tv/rockpalast/ Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
