Skyrim, the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls series, has attracted a large number of players, young and old, to its fan community. While misconceptions about the Elder Scrolls lore have always been present, after Skyrim's release, these misconceptions became increasingly exposed, here and there. Even the internet itself, by the time Skyrim was released, had just reached the point where anyone could sign up for social media and express their opinions on anything.
