Quick Change Tool Post Upgrade for the Proxxon PD 250/e Lathe
The Quick Change Tool Post needed some improvements to make it more stable, and easier to tram. I made this mounting shaft, with a custom nut and washer, and it has seriously improved how well the QCTP works. This toolpost is an official Proxxon accessory for the PD 250/e lathe, and I find it indispensable when it comes to setting the tool height. However it lacks a few features that a decent Quick Change Tool Post really needs. In this video my objective is to make the post more stable when adjusting the angle, or tramming it exactly parallel to the lathe axis.
