This is the fourth session of "Let's Study Korea and Korean History Carefully!", where we learn about the history of our neighboring country that most Japanese people don't know about. The lecturer is Takue Uyama, a writer who is active in many fields, including explaining current affairs from a historical perspective in various media. It seems that discrimination based on place of origin is still rampant in Korea today. People from the southern region of Korea called Jeolla Province are said to be treated poorly not only in politics but also in the entertainment world. Why does such discrimination still exist?
