Back in 2016 I started discovering this band for the first time when Magma was released. Since then Gojira has influenced me so much I don't even know where to start with all the stories. I happened to travel to their hometown by accident, went to see them live on Polandrock, which was one big magical experience. Gojira's music was there for me in all kinds of situations, it would help me with fear and anxiety. There's something so pure and honest about this band and their music that I cannot express in words. Fortidude doesn't feel like a very different or experimental album, it's just another very authentic piece of music from the guys and I love it. Even when it is as simple as this song.
