Where's Raymond. TV series stars Ray Bolger, 1953. Episode: Lieutenant Oglemeyer. ABC Network.

This television series has Ray Bolger, well known for his part as the Scarecrow in the feature film The Wizard of Oz, as Raymond Wallace, a song-and-dance man who performs on stage. Ray does not disappoint, as there is a wonderful jazzy dance number with Ray and Sylvia Lewis you won't want to miss. In this episode Ray hears his old lieutenant from his army days is in the audience, and he wants to get even for some past treatment by this guy when they served together. Ray's mannerisms reminded me of the Lion in The Wizard of Oz, although he's far from cowardly in this episode. Lots of pretty girls, and a great cast includes Rusty Morris, Nancy Hale, Roy Lennert, Claude Akins, Maurice Kelly, Sylvia Lewis, Richard Erdman, Betty Lynn, Claire Dubrey, and Allyn Joslyn. Episode title: Lieutenant Oglemeyer, aired October 29th, 1953. Sponsors are Kem-Tone paint, and Pall Mall cigarettes. From 16mm film. This is a re-do of an upload we did of this title a few months ago that had some "skips", now corrected.
