400 Horsepower out of a Datsun 280zx? Yeah, let's do that. This restoration build is shifting into an all-out high performance street Datsun. We've talked about swapping in an RB26 from a GT-R, the 350Z's VQ35, and even the classic LS1. The decision has been made. We're keeping the spirit of this Nissan S130 alive by replacing the factory L28 with a turbocharged L28et. In this episode we'll talk about exactly what we'll be doing to the little Datsun from here on out. From engine management, to suspension, to brakes, a lot of what we need is still up in the air, but the build is going to result in a heavily modified Datsun 280zx that still rocks the Nissan racing heritage.
