Wearing headphones, earbuds, or just playing from the speakers on your phone? Don't be afraid to experiment with the listening experience! Typically you can find me in three situations when accessing ASMR content. To stay focused while blocking out the noise, I'll wear over-ear headphones at a low volume. The carefully constructed ambiance is a welcomed blessing in this busy world, helping me get the work done. Now listen... come close... if it's the spine tickling, brain buzzing, full-body tingle effect we're after, I'm reaching for the earbuds every time. They're small and fit inside the ear, making it easy to cozy up in bed, blissfully mixing into the sounds now bouncing around my head. Lately for casual listening, I've been playing the sounds straight from the phone's built-in speaker. It's a realistic and cozy effect laying in bed with nothing in my ears and just the sound coming from the speakers. If you have surround sound speakers in your bedroom, you're on another level and don't need my advice.
