Abbey Hill Steam Rally 2026

A rally that I haven't attended for a couple of years, but one that is always bustling with exhibits is the Abbey Hill steam rally held at Yeovil showground in Somerset. This year the were a few exhibits that grabbed my attention beforehand. They were Burrell's no. 3912 "Dragon", 2855 "Ole Bill" and Mclaren no. 772 "Little Mike". "Dragon" was attending it's first event since a rather comprehensive overhaul, whereas the other two engines were completely new to me, with the Mclaren only recently exported from New Zealand. Unfortunately, I didn't get as much footage as I intended, but the forecasted weather put a damp end to my day. I hope that this video is sufficient enough from the few hours I was at the rally. The engines that are shown in this video are as follows; Allchin no. 3251 "Royal Chester" Burrell no. 2767 "King Sedgemoor" Burrell no. 2855 "Ole Bill" Burrell no. 3912 "Dragon" Fowler no. 14888 "Kingfisher" Marshall no. 29944 Marshall no. 43345 "Countess" Mclaren no. 772 "Little Mike" Mclaren no. 1148 "Hercules" Wallis & Steevens no. 2932 "Bailius" If you enjoyed this video then please like the video and subscribe to the channel.
