London 2012 legacy: Reflecting on a decade of development
Hosting a major event comes with the opportunity to leave a legacy that always addresses the anticipated needs of a city and its citizen. Once the Games were won by London, and this site selected, this was the chance to redevelop the whole area for the future. Ten years later, it’s a highly accessible, connected and vibrant park and pubic realm, much loved by locals - and the legacy is still developing. Arup partners with host cities from the earliest stages to deliver a successful event to legacy planning that always addresses the future. We support them to achieve their regeneration goals and to ensure long term sustainable development. We are committed to the long run. Find out more: https://www.arup.com/perspectives/how...
