Bleach: Shattered Blade -- Arturo Plateado

Well, here we are again, more Bleach: Shattered Blade. You're excited, right? I knew you would be. Last time, we got Ichigo out of the way, since he's the main character and all...now we can just ignore him for a while. And what a while it will be, there are a lot of characters to get through, after all. This time, I present to you Arturo Plateado...he's something of a ham, I suppose, but somehow that makes him a bit more charming than your average Arrancar. Interestingly enough, this game came out almost two years ago, and it features THREE Arrancar, when I'm pretty sure American viewers didn't even know what a Bount was if they were keeping up with the televised broadcasts. Equally interesting is that I don't believe the word "Arrancar" is used even once, it's simply stated that Arturo is "like a Hollow" and left at that. Arturo is basically your "boss character" of this game...and by that, I mean he has some pretty strong damage bias on his side, since he has a couple of attacks that do a lot of damage without any questions asked with relatively little required from the player to make it happen. Apparently Head Captain Yamamoto was one of the Soul Reapers who sealed Arturo away a thousand years ago...but they really don't go into a whole lot of detail there. Maybe sometime I'll upload some story segments to let you decide for yourself how good or bad you think the plot is for a licensed fighting game, but when Ichigo busted up the Sokyoku, apparently it unsealed Arturo and now he's out to destroy the Soul Society. Too bad for Arturo that Yamamoto is one tough old dude...seriously, fire everywhere. It's not pretty, even if you are a self-made Arrancar from long ago. I wonder why then does Arturo dress like the Arrancar that follow Aizen?
