Good morning, TRAVELBIKEPHOTO team. @travelbikephoto Today I bring you a very important video for me, where I tried to be as honest as possible about the situation I went through on my trip to San Pedro de Atacama with Perereca in January 2025. It was the BIGGEST SCARE I've ever had on a motorcycle trip, something I never imagined I could experience. Falling asleep on the motorcycle, alone, in the middle of the desert, not even in my worst nightmare could I imagine that happening. But it did, and this is a sincere account of that moment because I was very scared, and thank God nothing happened. So, this is a video made with care and super sincerely to share this warning and tip with you: pay close attention to driver or motorcyclist fatigue, road conditions, or accumulated kilometers, as this may be happening. I think it happened to me; the motorcycle made me sleepy until I passed out or fell asleep on it. I spent a good amount of time completely unaware of anything until I ended up in the city of Calama, as I recount in the video, without having any idea how I got there.
