Ferrous particles can penetrate the paint and create corrosive compounds that eat deep into the paint’s sub-layers if left untreated. An iron remover contains unique ingredients that effectively dissolve the sintered iron by forming a water soluble iron complex. Iron removers open the pores of the paint and remove the root of the problematic ferrous particles. Claybars alone can only shave off the top of the iron particles, so you need the chemical decontamination to remove them from the paint.
