They chose 3days to unveil an archival lamp, one originally designed in 1953 by Johnson and Richard Kelly to address the challenges of illuminating a glass structure without unwanted reflections. 14:50 Helle Mardahl Studio Former fashion designer and fine artist Helle Mardahl invites us into her candy-colored world of playful, decorative glass objects that nod to her childhood fantasy of a Willy Wonka-esque sweets shop. “My world is all about creativity,” says Mardahl, “I don’t know anything else.” 20:10 GUBI GUBI's Chief Brand Officer, Marie Schmidt, likens 3daysofdesign to a moment of truth – a chance to observe the community’s live, unfiltered responses to new pieces and archival reissues that embody the brand’s global outlook. 25:13 J.L.
