Medidas de tendencia cental: Como calcular la media mediana y moda

This educational video explains how to calculate measures of central tendency (mean, median, and mode) for both ungrouped and grouped data. Ungrouped Data (0:28 - 3:47) Mean (Average): All data points are added together and divided by the total number of data points (0:45). Median: This is the central value. If the number of data points is odd, it is the middle value. If it is even, the two middle values ​​are averaged (1:45). Mode: This is the value that appears most frequently (3:03). Grouped Data (3:48 - end) For this case, specific formulas based on frequency tables are used: Mean: The class mark is multiplied by the absolute frequency, these results are added together, and then divided by the total number of data points (4:00). Median: This requires locating the "median class" using the cumulative frequency and applying a formula that considers the lower limit, the interval width, and cumulative frequencies (6:35). Mode: The "modal class" (the one with the highest absolute frequency) is identified, and a formula based on the frequency differences between the modal class and its neighbors is applied (10:29).
