Fukagawa is located on the east side of the Sumidagawa River in Tokyo. It is an area that retains much of Tokyo's Shitamachi landscape. Today, I took a walk from Kiyosumi-shirakawa to Monzen-nakacho. We visited the Kiyosumi Garden with its beautiful Meiji era pond, the Edo Museum, which feels like walking down the streets of Edo, and the temples in Monzen Nakacho.
