This Hike Changed My Perspective on Van Life | Dutchmans Stern, Quorn

The first few weeks of van life haven't been quite what I expected. In this episode, I head to Dutchmans Stern near Quorn for a hike that gave me some much-needed perspective. Along the way, I stop at a local bakery to review one of their famous pasties, talk honestly about budgeting, working full-time from a campervan, and the reality of trying to explore Australia while still paying the bills. This is a realistic look at life as a digital nomad and remote worker—balancing a full-time job with the dream of travelling Australia. It's not all epic sunsets and freedom. Sometimes it's working from a campsite, doing dishes in a campground sink, watching your budget, and wondering if you're making the right decision. If you've ever wondered what it's really like to live and work from a van, I hope this series gives you an honest look behind the scenes. Despite the challenges, I leave Port Augusta feeling hopeful as I continue north towards Pimba and whatever comes next. If you enjoy honest van life content, digital nomad adventures, hiking, camping and the realities of working remotely while travelling Australia, I'd love to have you along for the journey. 👍 Subscribe for weekly van life documentaries, digital nomad adventures, hiking, camping and honest reflections from the road. #VanLife #Australia #DigitalNomad #RemoteWork #Campervan #Hiking #SouthAustralia #DutchmansStern #Quorn #TravelVlog #SoloTravel #VegoVanLife
