Entré a la HACIENDA ABANDONADA de San Simón, Michoacán

Welcome to a new video! This time, we delve into the heart of San Simón, in the municipality of Ixtlán, Michoacán, to document the imposing remains of its historic Hacienda. Join me on this documentary-style tour where we not only fly over the area with spectacular aerial shots of the main square and the old church tower (dating from the 18th-19th centuries), but we also manage to access the interior of the abandoned main house through a window. We explore room by room, showing the ravages of time, its empty rooms, its enormous beams, and the architecture that once belonged to the famous Dávalos family. This property was an important sugar mill and distillery, and even served as a military fort for the Spanish army during the War of Independence (1817) before falling into oblivion after the Mexican Revolution.
