Then the Grom unit can run by itself in the dash. Once you have Google Play store access then you can install any android app. You can watch youtube videos, hook up an OBD gauge app, the possibilities are endless. On the VLITE version you can only connect your phone to the GROM and use android auto fully through your phone.
