DIA DE JESÚS 2026 – ACTOS DEL JUEVES

As part of the week of the Day of Jesus, Thursday began with the Legion visiting various associations and offering flowers to the Sacred Image at its hermitage. In the afternoon, a parade of the "Black Berets" took place, departing from San Sebastián, along with the presentation of babies born in the last year and the awarding of children's membership titles to the brotherhood. Following this, the honor guard for the sacred image was formed by the squads of sappers from the brotherhood's bugle and drum bands; followed by those of the Gran Capitán Tercio, honorary senior brother of the Legion, led by the guidons and pennants. There was also a parade by the "Bonas Morá," who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. Later, also before the image of Father Jesus, the new members of the brotherhood received their official membership titles. The solemn kissing of the feet of the brotherhood's patron saint took place later, just before the retreat that would end Thursday's events.
