We Turned Old Roof Slates Into Raised Beds!
Hi folks! This week we’re putting some old roof slates to good use by building two new raised beds for the garden instead of letting them go to waste. We love finding ways to recycle and reuse materials wherever we can, and these old slates turned out to be perfect for creating new growing spaces. Shout out to our friends, Ash and Dave, for the great idea! While we were outside, we also thought it was a great time to share a little garden tour. After weeks of sowing seeds, planting, and preparing for the growing season, the garden is finally beginning to fill out, and it’s exciting to see everything starting to grow. If you enjoy gardening, DIY garden projects, upcycling materials, homesteading, or following life here on the west coast of Scotland, we hope you’ll enjoy this week’s video. Thanks so much for watching! If you’ve ever reused old materials in your own garden, we’d love to hear what you’ve made in the comments. We’ll catch you next time on Wee Bit Wild!
