Kaikoura Quake - Bounce Back
Kaikoura Quake is a short documentary, starring BBC and National Geographic presenter, Lizzie Daly. At midnight, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck New Zealand, devastating habitats and breeding grounds. The earthquake motivated a rethinking of seismic hazard models and was disastrous for the local biodiversity. In this pilot episode of the series “Bounce Back,” we have exposed the sheer determination that these irrepressible species have to survive against all odds.
