Porta dei Berici - Percorso Verde: da Brendola (VI) con il museo all'aperto della 2° Guerra Mondiale

ROUTE DESCRIPTION Start from the parking lot in Piazzetta del Donatore and follow the clear and frequent signs for the green route. The first stop is the church of San Michele (where you leave the other three routes of the Porta dei Berici). Shortly after, you climb to the castle (Rocca dei Vescovi). You enter a private property, home to a rare and magnificent collection of World War II artifacts: a helicopter, two airplanes, two machine guns, and a tank. The trail continues through a forest and emerges onto a small road. A little further on, you rejoin the three routes and begin to descend. You pass through picturesque villages and finally return to the outskirts of Brendola, completing the loop.
