Deal or No Deal (GBA) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Destination Software's 2007 game show adaptation for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, Deal or No Deal. I don't want to think about many times I had to play before I won the million while trying to record this video. Chances are, if you're watching this, you know what the TV show entails. It's got absolutely no substance and relies entirely on luck, but it can be vaguely entertaining if you stumble across an episode on TV. The problem is that as a video game, the game's compete reliance on luck doesn't really work so well. When there's no tangible prize involved, it's not terribly satisfying to play a game in which you have virtually no say in whether you succeed or not. I have to give it it's fair due, though. This portable rendition of the show looks a whole lot less creepy than the Wii game. I'm sure it's probably because of how limited the animation is, but it's nice to not have a horror-show of fetal alcohol syndrome-looking bimbos staring at you dead-eyed from across the stage. I'd take this version over the Wii one, just for that. Even if that does mean staring at Howie Mandel's creepy banana-fingers rendered in real-time 3D. At least you get full voice-acting instead of text boxes. I still have no idea what it means when it tells me that I didn't make the best deal at the end. I won the biggest prize - can there be a better "deal" than that in the show?
