Automatic Bag Placer for Open Mouth Bagging Systems
www.TinsleyCompany.com - The automatic bag placer picks up and places up to 20 bags per minute. This type of automation can replace one full-time operator in most bagging systems. It works with both new / existing net weigh and gross weigh bagging scales. It has a 400 empty bag magazine capacity and can hang most paper bags, as well as some plastic and polywoven bags. A key feature of this particular automatic bag placer is that you are still able to manually place bags during an outage, interruption, or maintenance to the bag placer. Fully enclosed bag placers and systems don't allow for this and usually require an entire line shut down, while problems are being addressed. The system shown in this video also contains an automatic bag top reformer that prepares the top of the bag so that it can move through the high-speed Union Special sewing head.
