Directed by Flying Lotus, Ash is a sci-fi survival thriller set on the distant planet KOI-442, nicknamed Ash. The movie follows Riya, a researcher who wakes up inside a scientific station with a bleeding head wound, no memory of what happened, and no understanding of who she is, where she is, or why her fellow crew members have been butchered around her. As she investigates, Riya triggers a chain of revelations involving a colonisation mission, alien terraforming, an intelligent parasitic life form, and the horrible possibility that the monster she is looking for may be closer to home than she realised.
