Lac du Der : 3 villages engloutis pour sauver Paris

🎥 In this episode, I take you to the shores of Lac du Der in Champagne @OTLacduDer A peaceful landscape today... but one whose story deserves to be told. In the 1970s, to protect Paris and the Marne basin from flooding, the decision was made to create a huge reservoir. But this project came at a price: three villages wiped off the map, residents expropriated, memories lost. Today, the lake plays an essential role in water regulation. Thanks to @eptbseinegrandslacs7339, it has become a technical tool... but also a vibrant space. Around it, rich wildlife, tourist activities, and a new perspective on local heritage. And so that nothing is forgotten, the Der Village Museum revives the memory of lost places. Lives, names, stories... that continue to exist. 💬 Did you know this story?
