US Army Delta Force/1st SFOD-D/CAG/TFG JSOC Tier 1 SMU The 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D), commonly known as Delta Force or CAG (Combat Applications Group), is a tier-one special operations unit of the United States Army. As part of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), Delta Force specializes in counterterrorism, direct action, hostage rescue, and clandestine operations. Delta Force operators undergo one of the most rigorous selection and training processes in the world, focusing on advanced marksmanship, close-quarters battle, reconnaissance, and unconventional warfare.
