ARC Studio Band - Crazy People (both takes, HOT!)

The ARC Studio Band, under the direction of veteran recording saxophonist Bennie Krueger, play the 1932 hit "Crazy People" (Edgar Leslie-James V. Monaco). Two takes of this title were recorded by ARC for issue on the older stable of dimestore labels (Banner, Perfect etc.) and on their "flagship" Melotone. Both were issued in the UK, with the former ending up on Imperial and the latter on Decca. The two takes differ wildly, with the first take being hotter and arguably more 'crazy'!
