Do you want to have a family?  Kate found out that she couldn’t have children. Distraught by the news that she could never fulfill her dream of becoming a mom, she demanded answers. But the doctor said there was nothing to be done. He prescribed her pills that would control her condition, and maybe, if she got very lucky, she’d be able to get pregnant. Ben, Kate’s husband, wasn’t quick to comfort her. He was sure that it was a sign from the universe that they shouldn’t have kids. He told her to go ahead and walk home while he stayed behind to chat with the doctor.
